EL SONIDO ES EL CUERPO (SOUND IS THE BODY)

A Venezuelan city just outside the capital seems to be emptying. Talks about an apparent end circulate. In a house to big for himself lives THE FATHER, a priest with no parishioners. Isolated, he takes care of a buffalo while somnambulistic-noise related episodes torment him. His sick neighbor and an old friend doctor, MARY, cross his path, but everyone's intentions are ambiguous and desperate. As the remaining authorities deviously go after his animal, THE FATHER struggles to safekeep it as he deals with his strange sound-malady.
