EL SONIDO ES EL CUERPO (SOUND IS THE BODY)

In a decaying Venezuelan city, THE FATHER, a priest with no parishioners, lives in isolation caring for a buffalo while strange somnambulistic episodes torment him. His sick neighbor and an old friend doctor, MARY, cross his path, but everyone's intentions are ambiguous and desperate. As the authorities deviously go after his buffalo, THE FATHER struggles to safely keep the animal as he deals with his malady. Lost and aimless after committing a violent act, he wanders into the jungle for his end, where a resonant entity drags him toward an uncertain destiny.
